The pool at the Howard Armstrong Recreational Centre will be closed until January 15, 2018.

The female pool change room will also closed for construction until January 8, 2018. Both adult change rooms and sauna will remain open.

The rest of the facility is open, including fitness areas, track and squash courts.

The male pool change room and sauna will remain open.

Tiles removed to inspect the cause of cracking along the pool deck revealed extensive damage to the pool deck and concrete body requiring additional time to repair.

All those enrolled in classes and programs that will be affected by the closing are being contacted.
