Thefts From Autos in Hyland Street and Copper Street area

On Sunday March 6th at 03:15 am, police were called by a citizen witnessing a person going through cars in driveways in the Copper Street area of Sudbury.

 

Police attended the area and arrested an 18 year old man with no fixed address.

He had been stealing items from vehicles in the Hyland Street and Copper Street area. Stolen property from some of these vehicles was recovered. It is believed that today people will identify if they had a theft and what was taken. Some victims have already been identified.

 

The 18 year old man was arrested for Theft Under $5000, Trespass By Night and Possession of Stolen Property. He is being held pending a bail hearing.
