On October 30th members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Rural Unit were conducting off road vehicle enforcement in the area of Capreol. Police attempted to stop a red side by side utility vehicle using emergency lights on 2 Police ATV's.

The driver acknowledged the officers and then fled at high rates of speed. The driver then proceeded onto the streets of Capreol and continued his aggressive driving. Police located the male still inside the side by side vehicle a short time later in Capreol.

The male now stands charged with 7 charges both from the Highway Traffic Act and the Off Road Vehicle Act and will appear in court to answer to the charges.
