R.I.D.E. checks this weekend by Greater Sudbury Police produced two impaired drivers resulting in 90 day license suspensions. One driver stopped during the R.I.D.E check registered a warning on the approved screening device and due to the fact it was this driver’s second time being caught in the warn range the driver had his license suspended for 7 days.
One other infraction was issued under the Highway Traffic Act.
A total of 331 vehicles stopped, 10 roadside screenings were performed and 3 standard sobriety test were performed.
