ATV collision Rayside-Balfour

On the 16th of May 2014 at 9:00 pm, officers of the Uniform Division responded to a report of an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) collision on Simmons Road in Rayside-Balfour.



A 37 year old male was operating the ATV without a helmet and lost control. The lone operator was ejected and landed on the roadway. He suffered minor injury to his chest and broken ribs. He was transported to Health Sciences North by EMS for treatment.



Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision. The matter remains under investigation.
