Update May 20th, 2014 4:20pm -The roadway at the scene on Howey Drive near Tarneaud Street is now closed for the police investigation of the single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle has been transported to area hospital suffering from life threatening injuries.

The public is requested to avoid the area and find alternate routes of travel.

Original May 20th, 2014 - The Greater Sudbury Police Service is currently on the scene of a serious personal injury accident involving a motorcycle on Howey Drive in the city of Greater Sudbury.The road remains open at this time but the Greater Sudbury Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in avoiding this area due to the need to investigate the scene in a safe manner.

The collision remains under investigation and an update will be sent as further details emerge.
