(ALBAN, ON) – On Monday June 16, 2014 shortly after 11:30 pm, officers from the Noelville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision involving a Honda All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). The collision occurred on North Channel Rd in the Municipality of French River.

Yolland PERRON, 59, from Onaping Falls was discovered by family members near his ATV at the bottom of an embankment. He had ventured on his own not far from his camp site where he had been camping with his spouse. He was pronounced dead at the scene and post mortem examination has been scheduled.

The investigation is still ongoing.
