Shortly after 3 am on Saturday January 10th, a police cruiser on patrol observed a vehicle accelerate into a snowbank near them at Ethelbert St and Pine St, Sudbury. There was no damage to the vehicle.

The officers stopped to assist the driver discovering he was impaired. He was arrested.

He was also found to be currently awaiting court on other charges. He will be held for a bail hearing.
