Four purse snatchings in Flour Mill area over last two days

The Greater Sudbury Police are investigating four (4) purse snatching incidents in the Flour Mill area of the City over the last two days. A lone male assaulted four females and took their purses and then fled the area on foot. The latest incident occurred last night at around 10 pm when a female had her purse stolen and was assaulted by a male. The police conducted a Canine track however this male escaped, the police are continuing to investigate these incidents. The suspect is male average height and of a slim build, he has been wearing a hoody and jeans during two of the incident and a plaid jacket with shorts during the latest incident.

The public is also being asked to be vigilant in these areas and to report anything suspicious to the police.
