18 yr old charged in Slade vandalism case

Updated - October 12th, 2015 9:00am: As a result of the ongoing investigation into the Mischief at the Campaign Office of Conservative Candidate Fred Slade, an 18 year old male has been charged with Criminal Harassment and Mischief Under $5000.

He is also facing additional charges of Break and Enter and Mischief under $5000 in regards to an unrelated event.

The male will be held to appear in Bail Court on 13OCT15.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.

Police say Police are currently investigating a mischief that took place at the Conservative Campaign Office of Fred Slade and are currently following up leads in this matter.

Slade posted a status update on Facebook at approximately 6:00pm on October 10th, 2015 saying "I was just notified our Campaign Headquarters was attacked by vandals, this is very disturbing."
