Police intercept large quantity of drugs entering the city

Greater Sudbury Police Service continues street level enforcement efforts surrounding the distribution of illicit drugs within Greater Sudbury. On April 7th 2016, members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Drug and K9 Units attended the Bus Terminal on Notre Dame Ave, Sudbury.
As a result of their attendance, police arrested two separate males from the Greater Toronto Area.
The first male was located with approximately 30 grams of suspected Heroin, with an estimated street value of $10,000.00.
A second male was found in possession of 473 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $47,300.00.
Both males stand charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and will appear in court on April 8th 2016 155 Elm Street Sudbury.
