École Jean-Paul II special needs students enjoy the 5 Way Carnival

he special needs children at Val Caron’s École Jean-Paul II recently had the opportunity to take part in the 5 Way Carnival in Hanmer. The midway crew was very enthusiastic and excepting of the children and ensured sure that every child, even those in wheelchairs, were able to enjoy the different rides that where offered. The children laughed, sang and were very excited. The École Jean-Paul II teachers were emotional at seeing the enjoyments on the faces of their students. The students, parents, teachers and educational assistants would like to send a heart-felt thank you to the 5 Way Carnival staff for their support and attention. This fun-filled day was made possible by the following five local agencies: Lions Club of Sudbury, Minnow Lake Lions Club, the Carrefour Francophone de Sudbury, the Kiwanis Club of Sudbury, and the Sudbury Developmental Services. We will most definitely see you again next year!
