2.9 Magnitude Earthquake near Lively ON

Residents across the city report feeling and hearing a earthquake that measure a 2.9 with a epicenter near Lively, ON around 8:47pm on June 13th, 2016.

The quake was picked up on the Eldee, ON and Sadowa, ON siesmographs (images in the gallery).

Residents reports hearing rumbling as far away as Val Caron and the shock was felt as far away as New Sudbury and Chelmsford.

According to Earthquakes Canada would have been Lightly felt in Lively and Subury, ON There are no reports of damage, and none would be expected.
