Police charge local store employee with theft

On the 24th of November 2016 uniform officers attended at an internal theft complaint at a retail store. Information was received that an employee had stolen merchandise including Nintendo DS consoles, various games for the Nintendo DS consoles and a Galaxy Tablet totaling approximately $2344.72
As a result of the investigation officers were able to recover 5 Nintendo consoles which were sold to a local hock shop.
The accused stands charged with Theft under $5000, Possession of property obtained by crime and five counts of trafficking property obtained by crime.
The GSPS then executed a warrant at the accused residence where the remainder of the stolen merchandise was located.
