Greater Sudbury Police responded to a stabbing complaint on Elm Street in the area of the SudburyTransit Centre around 7:30pm on Sunday evening.

A 23-year old female was transported to hospital for treatment of what are described as non-life threatening injuries. A 25-year old female was taken into custody and will appear in bail court.

Police believe that this was an isolated incident and not a random act.
