On Saturday May 3^rd, between 9 am and 11 am, there was a Clean-Up Blitz conducted by local residents of the Wiltshire Street area in Minnow Lake.

This Blitz was attended by a uniformed officer from Greater Sudbury Police who assisted neighbours with the clean-up.

The City of Greater Sudbury provided safety vests, garbage bags and gloves to the volunteers.

The Wiltshire Street area in Minnow Lake is a residential area that has 2 walking paths and a creek running along the paths. 

Police and the City of Greater Sudbury support initiatives by people taking personal pride in their neighbourhoods. Our shared commitment to community safety and wellness addresses traditional enforcement roles for officers but expands the service to create ongoing collaboration with partners to create better conditions for everyone.
