Greater Sudbury Hydro has been advised by Hydro One that service to the distribution station supplying electricity to Falconbridge will be interrupted on Sunday September 27, 2015 so improvements can be made to the Hydro One system.

Consequently, 300 Greater Sudbury Hydro customers in Falconbridge should expect an outage on Sunday Sept 27, 2015 from about 9am until 3pm. As is our practice, all affected customers will be notified in writing.

We remind people to ensure any computerized equipment is turned off prior to the interruption. Also, please remember that most cordless telephones as well as garage door openers will not function during an outage.
