SUV hits pedestrian on Paris Street; fails to remain

On the 6th of October 2016 at 4:45 P.M. Greater Sudbury Police Service along with Sudbury EMS attended to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Paris Street south of Walford Rd. A male party operating a motorized mobility scooter traveling on the sidewalk, was struck by an SUV which was exiting the Paris Street Plaza at 1500 Paris Street.
The vehicle was described as a small type SUV gray or silver in colour operated by a female in her mid-30s with blond hair.
The female driver failed to render any assistance to the man who was pushed into traffic on to the road way.
The suspect vehicle then left the scene traveling north on Paris Street.

The male party was taken to Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
