Single Motor Vehicle Collision on Brady Street, Sudbury

Earlier this morning at approximately 4:50 am; Greater Sudbury Police Service were called to the scene of a single motor vehicle collision occurring Brady near Douglas Street in the City of Greater Sudbury. The vehicle had struck a hydro pole resulting in significant damage to the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle had fled from the scene prior to police arrival.
Due to the amount of damage sustained by the vehicle, Police are concerned with the welfare of the driver and any other potential occupants. Police are searching the area and canvassing area businesses and the neighbourhood.
Police are seeking public assistance for any information and to contact the Greater Sudbury Police Service at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 222-TIPS, online at www.sudburycrimestoppers.com or by texting TIPSUD and the information to CRIMES (274637).
