Greater Sudbury Fire Services and Greater Sudbury EMS Services responded apartment fire at 1960 Paris Street around 9:00am on November 2nd, 2017.
Witnesses initially described fire and smoke from a 8th storey window however fire services extinguished the flames quickly upon arrival..
The fire started in a mattress and fire was contained to one unit however there is water damage to several apartments resulting in 15 tenants being displace.
There were no injuries.
Greater Sudbury Fire Services remained on scene ventilating the building until around 11:00am. Greater Sudbury Transit was called in to provide shelter, drinks and snack to the affected tenants.
