Walmart in the South End was forced to evacuate and close the store shortly after 8:00pm this evening due to water pouring from the ceiling.
Witnesses say water began pouring the ceiling area and at one point a large piece of metal fell to the ground knocking down several lighting fixtures. It's unclear the source of the water but some suspect that the leak was caused my a leak in the sprinkler system.
There are no reports of injuries.
The store will be closed until further notice to investigate the cause.
