EarthCare has something for everyone from learning to eat healthy with local ingredients to helping your children want to play outdoors! The following events are coming soon, so register early to avoid disappointment.

Local Food: LIVE!

Come join Tammy Chequis, a registered Dietician and Chef Monique Ferron-Jobin for a great morning breakfast on Thursday, May 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, 50 Brady Street, Sudbury. They will discuss ways to eat fresh and healthy with local ingredients as well as a live food demonstration using seasonal local ingredients. Admission includes a hot buffet breakfast and is only $15 or $12 for EarthCare Sudbury Partners. Spaces are filling quickly so register now at www.earthcarebreakfast5.eventbrite.com!

Project Wild Thing

There was a time before iPads, cell phones and TV’s where children would play outside at every opportunity they had. The film Project Wild Thing encourages everyone to bring that experience back. Come out and enjoy this wonderful documentary while your kids enjoy outdoor activities on Saturday, May 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Lake Laurentian Conservation Area, 2309 South Bay Road, Sudbury, rain or shine. There will be open discussions for adults while children learn how fun the outdoors can be, during supervised activities. Admission is $5 per adult, children admitted free. Spaces are limited.
