Three Males Arrested in Stolen Truck

On the 16th of May 2014 at approximately 10:30 am, officers of the Break Enter and Robbery (BEAR) unit had occasion to observe a stolen truck. The stolen vehicle, a 1997 green GMC was parked unattended in a parking lot on Beech Street in Greater Sudbury. Three males were observed entering the stolen truck. The vehicle was started by the culprits. Prior to it being put into motion, the truck was surrounded and all three men were arrested by officers. A person search incident to arrest found one of the three males was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana.

The accused persons who are all from Greater Sudbury stand charges with the following offence:

• 66 year old male – Possession of property obtained by crime

• 37 year old male – Possession of property obtained by crime

• 35 year old male – Possession of property obtained by crime & possession of a controlled substance – marijuana

People say things are not getting better but I think they are police are patrolling much more and they are on duty more they have a visible presence and it is notice well by me and my family
