Greater Sudbury Police Valley East Storefront Open House

On the 16th of September 2015 the Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS) is hosting an Open House at their Storefront located within the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre (HARC) at 4040 Elmview Dr. Hanmer Ontario.

As part of our shared commitment to build and maintain relationships with the community we are asking the public to attend our open house.

The festivities will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and will include a complimentary BBQ, cake, inflatable obstacle course, fish pond and prizes.

Meet us in the parking lot next to the soccer fields for the welcoming address from Chief of Police Paul Pedersen.

This is a great chance to explore the many different departments from the Greater Sudbury Police that will be showcased throughout the event. You can also learn about all of the great opportunities available as a volunteer with GSPS, including the launch of our new “Event Volunteer” program.

Be a spectator at 3:30 pm and watch as the Police face off against local youths in two soccer games.

Following these matches, people attending the event will have a chance to get down and dirty in an epic battle of BUBBLE SOCCER, as for the first time ever in Sudbury, bubble soccer will be available for everyone from 4-6 p.m. (Some restrictions apply) .

Come out and enjoy some family fun and connect with your police service!
