Breach of probation after child pornography conviction

A Sudbury man previous convicted in procession of child pornography case has been charged with breach of probation.

In March of 2014, 31 year old Dylan Lachance was convicted of Possession of Child Pornography. Lachance was sentenced to 6 months jail and 3 years of probation.

In October 2015 Greater Sudbury Police Cyber Crime Unit received information that Dylan Lachance was breaching conditions of his probation order.

After a Police investigation that concluded on the 12th of October 2015, Dylan Lachance was arrested and charged with seven counts Fail to Comply with Probation Conditions Contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada for possessing computers and/or computer devices, failing to turn over computer devices in his possession to police, as well as keeping the peace and being of good behavior.

Dylan Lachance appeared in bail court on the 13th of October 2015.
