Greater Sudbury Police seize over $23,000 in cash and drugs

On November 11, 2015 members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit were conducting surveillance in the City of Greater Sudbury and observed a drug transaction between two male parties.
As a result of this investigation the two males were arrested and charged with offences under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act:
- Karl Largie, 32 years of age – City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario
o Trafficking a controlled substance
o Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- Kevin Ross, 33 years of age - Pickering, Ontario
o 2 Counts off Trafficking a controlled substance
o Possession of property obtained by crime
o Obstruct a peace officer
Further to this investigation police executed two search warrants under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act where a large quantity of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and packaging material were seized.
The total value of currency seized was $14,145. The total value of the drugs seized was $9,000.
At the time of this offence Mr. Largie was on Federal Parole and as a result of his arrest his parole was revoked.
