Updated: Seismic event may have in fact been mining related.

Updated - January 11th, 2016 7:30am: Latest information as provided by Earthquakes Canada suggests that Sunday's quakes may have been mining related.
New Approximate Location of Earthquake was 46.46 N, 81,17 W.
A Vale spokesperson has indicated that the quake's epicenter was 500-800 feet north of Creighton Mine.
The event occurred during shift change at Creighton however Vale says operations were temporarily halted as a precautionary measure.

Updated - January 10th, 2016 7:20pm: Vale has confirmed that the activity did not originate from their operations.

Time: 5:37pm

Approximate Location of Earthquake was 46.3 N, 80.8 W.

Magnitude: 3.2 ML

There are no reports of damage, and none would be expected. Lightly felt in Sudbury.
Another M~3.2 earthquake occurred 12min. later.

Original - Residents from all over Greater Sudbury and area reporting two seismic event this evening.

The activity was record at by seismographs in Sadowa and Eldee ON.
No word yet if these were as a result of mining operation of naturally occurring.
We'll update as information becomes available.

two earthqwakes rattles( northern japan )30 min apart.Indonesia and Phillippines on monday1 I think it's( the end of ice age)permafrost melting plates are sliding!
