Residents Invited to Learn About Becoming a Volunteer Firefighter

The City of Greater Sudbury Fire Service is hosting a series of open houses for residents interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter. Families are invited to attend the open houses which include opportunities to speak with volunteer firefighters, complimentary barbecues and station tours.

  • Vermillion Lake Volunteer Fire Station, 2214 Vermillion Lake Road, Chelmsford: Saturday, April 5 from Noon to 3 p.m.,
  • Capreol Volunteer Fire Station, 59 Young Street, Capreol: Saturday April 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.,
  • Waters Volunteer Fire Station, 25 Black Lake Road, Lively: Saturday April 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
  • Lively Volunteer Fire Station, 229 Ninth Street, Lively: Saturday April 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
  • Beaver Lake Volunteer Fire Station, 7535 Highway 17 W, Beaver Lake: Saturday, April 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
  • Red Deer Lake Volunteer Fire Station, 533 Red Deer Lake Road, Wahnapitae: Saturday, April 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
