SUDBURY, ON) – On June 29, 2014 at 11:45 p.m., officers from the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 17 (just west of the Vermillion River Bridge) in the City of Greater Sudbury.
Police attended at a residence on Pine Street earlier in the day with regards to a 29 year old male with a stab wound to his leg.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service, in partnership with TG Innerselves, is excited to unveil the production of “Creating Awareness and Understanding of the Transgender Community”. This video is the result of a year and a half collaborative effort between the Greater Sudbury Police Service and the transgender community in North Eastern Ontario.
“Hey bonehead, wear a helmet!” That was the message delivered today at the Minnow Lake Outdoor Skate Park by the Brain Injury Association Sudbury and District (BIASD) and the Emergency Department at Health Sciences North/Horizon Santé-Nord (HSN).
Both organizations teamed up to promote BIASD’s “Helmet Awareness Campaign.”
