s in past years, some 20 Collège Notre-Dame (Sudbury) students dressed up for a Halloween dance held at Sudbury’s Pioneer Manor. In addition to helping residents to dress up for this special day, students escorted them to the commons room and danced with them. While certain residents watched the show with interest others danced. Without a doubt, residents and students shared a special moment and had a great deal of fun.

The Solidarity-Burundi Sudbury group began this summer to build a school in Irtazo. Construction work is progressing well. As foundations are completed, we could start builing the walls.

Une élève de l’école secondaire de Sacré-Coeur, lauréate du prix d’autonomie Craig Noble
Tanya Quesnel, a grade 12 student from Sudbury’s École secondaire du Sacré-Coeur, was presented with the Craig T. Noble award from ICAN (Independence Centre and Network) Sudbury. Tanya, who recently completed her secondary school studies, was born with cerebral palsy spastic diplegia and is a past ICAN youth services participant.
