On Tuesday November 4th at shortly after 8:30 pm, plainclothes officers (wearing clearly marked large Police identifiers on their clothing) in unmarked vehicles had stopped a suspect vehicle on Amanda St, Coniston in the parking lot of the Coniston Mall.
During the month of November 2014, Traffic Management Unit officers will concentrate their efforts on offences relating to Distracted Driving. Activities will be conducted throughout the City of Greater Sudbury to raise awareness and increase enforcement of distracted driving laws.

On Sunday, November 02, 2014 at approximately 0344hrs, police responded to a missing person report regarding a group of 3 hunters that failed to return home at their expected time.
At approximately 1:20 pm today officers responded to a home invasion robbery at a Myles Street residence located in Sudbury. Information was received that a firearm was involved in the incident.

The four members have been awarded the Governor General’s Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal, recognizing over 20 years of meritorious service in the field of pre-hospital emergency medical service.
