Westbound lane on Kingsway at Silver Hills Drive, Sudbury is temporarily closed due to a large sinkhole approximately 2 feet deep.
There is currently a power outage in the south end of Sudbury, affecting 412 GSU customers. A feeder in the Long Lake substation has gone offline, and customers on Lammi, Jarvi, Sunnyside and Kivinen Roads have lost service.

On Wednesday, June 1st 2016, at 1:45 p.m., a Greater Sudbury Police Service Traffic Management Officer while on enforcement patrol in Val Therese observed an 18-year old male proceeding southbound on Desmarais Road towards Old Highway 69, on a dirt bike that had no licence plate.
